The 2025 NBA Draft is just over a month away, and some young up-and-coming studs have topped the prospect list.
Many believe that Duke forward Cooper Flagg will be the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, but multiple other prospects are under 20 years old with a lot of potential.
Schools from multiple conferences have developed some high-rated talent at the very top of the list, right next to Flagg, are two prospects from Rutgers University.
Although their talents didn't produce consistent winning basketball in the Big Ten conference, many believe the pair of Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper will go back-to-back in the draft.
When picking in the draft, it's all based on what teams need and what circumstances are necessary for those teams, and there's an ex-NBA player who thinks forward Ace Bailey should be picked over everybody at No. 1.
FanDuel TV's Run It Back, hosted by Michelle Beadle, Chandler Parsons, and Lou Williams has a lot of different names that appear on the show – one of them being four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins.
He went on the show and made a controversial statement on NBA prospect Bailey.
"I think Ace Bailey is the No. 1 pick. I think he's the closest thing we've seen to a Tracy McGrady," Cousins said on Tuesday.
“He’s the closest thing we’ve seen to a Tracy McGrady.” @boogiecousins says that Ace Bailey should be the #1 pick over Cooper Flagg, but he doesn’t see the Mavs keeping the first pick

Bailey is a 6-foot-10, 200-pound player and is listed as a guard coming out of college.
While playing in that position, he's a bigger guard but has the ability to play in the forward position.
Tracy McGrady was a 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward that has the ability to score in all three levels of the court.
It's a large claim to make, as McGrady won two scoring champions as well as being elected a seven-time All-Star.
Many people make comparisons for every NBA prospect, but a claim being made like this will make some people think about what they're getting from the versatile guard from Rutgers University
