Former Auburn Star Johni Broome Gets Crushed For 'Embarrassing' NBA Combine Video

It was a rather embarrassing effort that only gets more embarrassing when you see the replies in Givony's X feed:

"Buddy needs to get Duolingo asap, that jump had Euroleague written all over it," one user replied.

"He didn’t look good against college kids let alone playing in the league," another remarked.

"They gonna use this clip to discredit this era in 20 years this dude just set us back," a third wrote, adding a laughing emoji.

"Bro not jumping over a credit card."

"Do not draft this guy in the first round holy (expletive)."

"Outside of bullying teams without bigs/skinny bigs I’ve never been overly impressed with his game. Objectively Cooper Flagg outplayed him by a lot and the race should not have been close."

Even the Duolingo language learning app got in on the fun:

"Learn Chinese and try Super Duolingo today!" Duolingo wrote.

It's a rough look, but hopefully one that doesn't cost him significantly in the NBA Draft.

Broome was a First-team All-SEC selection in 2024 as well as the SEC Tournament MVP but really turned things up the following year. 

This past season he was a consensus All-American, SEC Player of the Year, First-team All-SEC and winner of the Pete Newell Big Man and Karl Malone Awards.

At 6-foot-10 and 240 pounds, Broome has the prototypical size to be a solid player at the professional level. 

Whether he's good enough to be an NBA player though remains to be seen.
