
Former Cincinnati star Dan Skillings Jr. committed to Baylor out of the transfer portal for his final college season. He announced the switch on Instagram.
The rangy wing posted 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game this past campaign.
Skillings started 13 of 29 games this past season after starting 15 games during the 2023-24 season. He took a step back as a defender, scorer, and rebounder to post a disappointing campaign in Clifton during 22.8 minutes per contest after returning from a knee injury he suffered in the first game. His half-court defense took the biggest hit in his final months at UC.
Skillings was one of Wes Miller's first fully-recruited players at Cincinnati, along with Josh Reed and Sage Tolentino backin 2022. None of them are currently on the roster entering Miller's fifth season.

Skillings is a former four-star recruit who has spent his entire three-year career at Cincinnati. He’s a native of Blackwood, New Jersey.
