The college basketball transfer portal window may have closed, but commitments are rolling in each and every day after the season.
On Sunday, one of the most intriguing prospects in the transfer portal announced his official decision.
Baye Fall, a former McDonald's All-American and blue-chip prospect, took to social media to reveal his third college basketball team in three seasons.
Fall has committed to Rutgers, after playing his freshman season at Arkansas and his sophomore season at Kansas State.
"" Fall captioned the post.
Fall originally committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks out of high school as a four-star prospect, ranked as the No. 4 center and the No. 28 overall player in the nation, per 247Sports.
During his freshman season at Arkansas, Fall averaged 0.8 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game.
Fall then transferred to Kansas State, where he posted 2.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game with the Wildcats.
Fall was previously considered one of the best incoming talents at the collegiate level. When he committed to Arkansas, many believed that the 6-foot-10 talent could be a one-and-done prospect with clear NBA potential.
He will now have another opportunity to carve out a significant role and boost his NBA Draft stock, this time in the Big Ten.
Fall will be playing in his third different conference, having previously competed in the SEC and Big 12.
He may not have much of a strong resume in the college ranks, but Rutgers certainly got one of the top transfers with high upside.
