One of Oklahoma’s transfer portal entrants has announced his new team.

Sophomore guard C.J. Noland , who announced he was leaving the Sooners on March 14, has announced on Twitter that he will be playing with the Saint Louis Billikens next season.

After an encouraging true freshman campaign in 2021-2022, Noland had a disappointing second year in Norman.

Beginning the year as a starter and one of the key pieces of the team, the Texas native saw his role become more and more reduced as the season went on.

That playing time dwindled down so far to the point that Noland didn’t log a single minute of game action in any of the Sooners’ final four games of the season despite opening the year in the starting lineup.

Now, with still multiple years of eligibility, he heads to the Atlantic-10 conference to play under former Oklahoma State head coach Travis Ford with Saint Louis.

This season, the Billikens sported a solid 21-12 record, but failed to reach the NCAA Tournament.

Noland becomes the first OU portal entrant to announce their new team, with Bijan Cortes, Joe Bamisile and Benny Schroeder still on the market for their next landing spot.
