Kentucky Basketball is known for putting tons of players in the NBA, helping them achieve their lifelong goal of getting to the NBA. Now, Kentucky boasts some of the top highest-paid players in the entire league.

In a list composed by ESPN on “highest average annual value on contract”, three of the top five players on the list were former Kentucky basketball players. Anthony Davis was first on the list with $62.0M, followed by Devin Booker ($58.7M) and Karl-Anthony Towns ($58.7M) to round out the top five.

This doesn’t even include Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who could end up as the first player ever to sign a $400M Contract Extension in 2027.

The last time it was reported in October of 2022, Calipari’s players at Kentucky have totaled nearly three $3 billion in NBA contracts. If you’re a high school recruit or high-major transfer, that is hard to ignore.
