The Georgia Bulldogs are having a solid week after some key commits shut down their recruitments and canceled official visits to other schools, including four-star safety Jordan Smith.

Smith, a four-star talent from Houston County High School in Warner Robins, initially committed to the Dawgs last month.
"Growing up, that's all you hear about, Georgia football, Georgia football, Georgia football," Smith told Dawgs247. "But, it definitely, definitely there's a connection there. Growing up, I always wanted to be that."
He is ranked No. 95 nationally in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is also the No. 8 safety in the country and the No. 10 overall prospect in the state of Georgia.
As On3 reported, Smith had official visits scheduled with Tennessee and Florida State this month, but he will no longer take them.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 6 recruiting class and has 13 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
