The Georgia Bulldogs are projected to add another top-tier talent to their secondary.
According to Rivals' Adam Gorney and several other recruiting analysts, the Dawgs are the front-runners to land elite in-state safety Tyriq Green.

Green has trimmed his list to three finalists, with the Auburn Tigers and Miami Hurricanes joining Georgia in the mix.
He plans to announce his final decision on Saturday, July 12, at 4 p.m. ET.

Green, a 5-foot-10, 191-pound standout from Buford, Georgia, is ranked by 247Sports' composite as the No. 10 athlete nationally and the No. 21 overall player in the state.
If Georgia manages to secure Green’s commitment, it would give the Bulldogs a trio of four-star safeties in their 2026 class, joining Zech Fort and Jordan Smith, who are already on board.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class and has 27 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
