The Georgia Bulldogs hosted several top recruits this weekend for their annual "Scavenger Hunt" recruiting event, including five-star offensive lineman Darius Gray.

And whatever happened in Athens clearly made an impression since Gray had nothing but positive things to say about the visit.

"I had so much fun this weekend at my official visit with UGA! It was an excellent visit! Thank you @coachKub_70 @SSearels @KirbySmartUGA @UGARecruiting20 @DHill39," Gray wrote on X/Twitter.

Gray, a 6-foot-3, 285-pound standout from St. Christopher's School in Richmond, Virginia, is ranked as the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings.

His recruitment has been heating up, with over 40 scholarship offers rolling in from powerhouse programs like Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Ohio State, and South Carolina.

But it’s not just football where Gray shines, he’s also a standout basketball player. His hoops background has helped him develop impressive agility and body control, traits that translate directly to his play on the football field. In fact, his coach at St. Christopher’s has credited basketball for boosting his quickness and awareness on the o-line.

With his rare blend of size, athleticism, and versatility, Gray is highly sought after and someone Georgia will be trying hard to get, especially after missing out on Jackson Cantwell to Miami.
