Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs coaching staff are hard at work securing the future of the program, turning their attention to the 2026 high school recruiting class in recent weeks.
The Zags are heavily involved in the recruitment of four-star center Sam Funches, who is working on scheduling a visit to Spokane this offseason, and are one of the teams still in the mix for No. 1 overall ranked recruit Tyran Stokes - alongside Kentucky, Louisville, Kansas, and a few others.
The latest known target for Gonzaga in the 2026 class is Toni Bryant, a 6'9 forward from North Tampa Christian Academy in Florida. The Zags watched Bryant play this weekend alongside a huge list of other programs; including Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, North Carolina, Arizona, Michigan, Texas, Purdue, and many others - as reported by Sam Kayser of League Ready.

Bryant is the No. 10 ranked prospect in the 2026 class according to 247Sports and comes in at No. 13 overall in the composite rankings, making him a consensus five-star recruit.
On3 reports Bryant has already taken official visits to Missouri and Ole Miss, with unofficial visits to Kansas, USC, NC State, and SMU as well.
Bryant was a menace as a junior at North Tampa Christian Academy, averaging 21 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 6.5 blocks per game while shooting 66% from the field and 43% from deep, leading his team to their first Final Four appearance in school history.
He's since transferred to Zephyrhills Christian Academy for his senior season, and his performance on the grassroots circuit helped catch the attention of premier college hoops programs nationally.
Gonzaga has two recruits joining the team in 2025 in 6'7 wing Davis Fogle and 6'10 big man Parker Jefferson, ranked No. 31 and No. 228 in the 2025 class, respectively, at 247Sports.
The Zags are also expected to land international freshman guard Mario Saint-Supery from Spain, although his commitment has yet to be confirmed.
