The Grizzlies have signed center Lawson Lovering and forward Tyler Burton, the team announced. Terms were not released, but both are expected to be Exhibit 10 contracts designed to funnel players to the G League.
Lovering, a 7-footer who played three seasons at Colorado and two at Utah, went undrafted in June. He appeared in seven Summer League games with Memphis, averaging 3.4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 12.9 minutes while shooting 62.5 percent from the field.
Burton, meanwhile, spent last year with the G League’s Memphis Hustle. He appeared in eight games, averaging 2.5 points and 2.9 rebounds. The 6-foot-7 forward played three seasons at Richmond and two at Villanova before going undrafted in 2024.
With the additions, the Grizzlies now have 20 players under contract — one short of the offseason maximum. All 15 roster spots are guaranteed, and all three two-way slots are filled following the signing of Olivier-Maxence Prosper earlier this week.
Exhibit 10 contracts can be converted into two-way deals before the season begins. Players also qualify for bonuses worth up to $85,300 if waived and then spend at least 60 days with the team’s G League affiliate.
Lovering would join the Hustle as an affiliate player, while Burton would return as a returning-rights player.
