Moore attends Hueytown High School in Alabama, and he is a 2027 four-star recruit. Coaches are now permitted to talk to 2027 recruits, and several have been in contact with Moore.
“Right now, who has been hitting me up the most is Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, Florida, Ole Miss and USC,” Moore told Touchdown Alabama.
The Auburn Tigers are continuing to make a push for multiple in-state recruits in an effort to compete against Alabama for talent within the state. Moore is building his relationship with multiple members of the Crimson Tide’s staff.
“Auburn is great,” Moore said. “They check up on me on a daily basis. I feel really comfortable with coach (Vontrell) King and coach (Hugh) Freeze. If I was to go there, they’re like family.”
Tennessee has hosted Moore in the past and the Vols are establishing themselves as a factor in Moore’s recruitment.
“Tennessee is great also, been enjoying my recruitment with them,” Moore said. “Coach (Rodney) Garner, (Josh) Heupel and coach Chop (LeVorn Harbin) just treat me like family when I come up for a game or visit.”
LSU’s interior defensive line coach, Kyle Williams has LSU in a good place with the four-star. The Hueytown product is looking forward to visiting Baton Rouge.
“LSU is great,” Moore told Touchdown Alabama. “I haven’t had the chance to get down there, but when I do, I know it’s going to be a crazy vibe. Coach Kyle coming into the program, just made me feel comfortable.”
Alabama has been in contact with Moore through written communication as of late, but he does have a close relationship with Alabama’s defensive line coach Freddie Roach.
“I just have a close relationship with coach Freddie Roach and starting to build a relationship with coach (Kalen) DeBoer,” said Moore.
At 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds, Moore displays strength at the point of attack. He also possesses great length and an impressive frame with the ability to turn and run and get after the football. Moore is one of the nation’s top 2027 defensive lineman prospects.
