Ian Schieffelin Makes Clemson History with Another Dominant Double-Double
USA TODAY Sports

Ian Schieffelin continues to cement his place in Clemson basketball history. The junior forward recorded his 23rd career double-double—and his 11th this season—while also surpassing Elden Campbell on the Tigers’ all-time rebounding list in another standout performance.

Schieffelin’s relentless effort on the glass has been a driving force for Clemson all season. His ability to control the boards and provide second-chance opportunities has made him one of the most valuable players on Brad Brownell’s squad. Against Virginia, he once again proved his impact, battling inside for key rebounds and finishing strong in the paint.

Passing Campbell, one of Clemson’s all-time greats, is no small feat. Campbell, who went on to a long NBA career, was a dominant force in the late 1980s and early ’90s. Now, Schieffelin’s name is etched even higher in the Tigers’ record books, showcasing his consistency and toughness as a premier rebounder in program history.

With Clemson pushing toward postseason play, Schieffelin’s presence inside will be crucial. His rebounding, defensive intensity, and ability to finish around the rim give the Tigers an edge as they look to make noise in March.
