  John Newman III has a pro basketball home as he gets ready to play for Kortrijk out of the BNXT League in Belgium.

Newman is signed there for the 2024-25 season as he starts his pro journey following a Big-12 All-Defensive First-Team selection. He averaged 9.1 points and 5.5 rebounds in his final season at UC.
