It's been over a year since Michael Jordan's son Marcus Jordan was arrested on DUI and ketamine charges. But after doing everything right over the past year, it appears he's out of trouble.

According to TMZ, Jordan has completed the terms of a deal he reached with prosecutors to avoid jail time and the case will now be dismissed. Among the requirements he had to fulfill was writing an apology to the arresting officer, paying a fine, doing community service, submitting to random drug testing and installing an interlock device in his car.

Jordan was initially taken into custody after driving a Lamborghini SUV onto train tracks. Cops questioning Jordan asserted that he smelled like alcohol, had slurred speech and also had bloodshot eyes. At the scene, Jordan stated that he had been to a gentlemen's club and had car issues afterwards.

Jordan would not submit to a sobriety test and a search of his pocket yielded a white powder that later tested positive for ketamine. Jordan was arrested and later pled not guilty to all of the charges.

A wild life

Like his father, Marcus Jordan played high school and college basketball. He played college ball at UCF, where he earned all-conference honors in 2011 while playing alongside his brother Jeffrey. But unlike his famous father, Jordan did not try his hand at pro basketball afterwards and initially went into business.

Jordan has had an eventful life to put it kindly. He had legal issues dating back to his time at UCF and in the last few years was largely in the move for dating Scottie Pippen's ex-wife Larsa Pippen for several years.
