Tre Holloman revealed his new school on Sunday.

After three years at Michigan State, Holloman entered the transfer portal following the team's Elite Eight elimination. He'll jump from the Big Ten to the ACC next season.

Holloman revealed his commitment to NC State by posting photos of himself wearing his new Wolfpack uniform on Instagram.

"When I was the underdog, still I put the bank on me," Holloman wrote with a "Go Pack" hashtag.

After averaging 8.6 minutes per game as a freshman, Holloman's workload spiked to 19.7 minutes in 2023-24. He shot an improved 47.1 percent from the floor and 42.4 percent from three-point range.

Holloman appeared in all 37 Spartans games this season, making 16 starts for Tom Izzo's decorated program. He registered career-highs in points (9.1), assists (3.7), and rebounds (1.8).

During the regular season's final game, Holloman initiated an altercation with Michigan players standing on Michigan State's logo as Spartans seniors honored the annual custom of kissing the center-court emblem. Tom Izzo praised Holloman for defending tradition and directed the junior to kiss the logo.

"I love that mentality," Michigan State athletic director Alan Haller said of Holloman, per MLive's Matt Wenzel. "Protect your home, protect your court, be respectful, but he showed a true Spartan mentality today."

Holloman scored 14 points in each of Michigan State's first two NCAA tournament wins. He added 10 in a tight Sweet 16 triumph over Ole Miss but endured an unfortunate ending to his Spartans tenure.

On March 30, Holloman missed all 10 field-goal attempts and committed two turnovers during a 70-64 loss to Auburn. An emotional Holloman called East Lansing a "special place" when apologizing after the game.

"I wish I could have shown up big for my team today," Holloman said. "I'm just sorry, man. I just felt like I let my team down."

Holloman will transfer to an NC State program that followed 2024's improbable Final Four appearance with a 12-19 season. The Wolfpack replaced longtime head coach Kevin Keatts with McNeese's Will Wade.
