Michigan basketball moved to 3-0 on the young Big Ten season with a road win against the USC Trojans on Saturday night.

Big man Danny Wolf starred for the Wolverines, putting up 21 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists for coach Dusty May's team, showing off the versatile game that has made him one of the rising stars of college basketball since his decision to transfer from the Yale Bulldogs this offseason.

Wolf also reached a milestone that hadn't been done in the Michigan basketball program since former first round pick Ekpe Udoh did it in 2008, while leading Michigan to a hard-fought 85-74 victory.

The Wolverines center blocked six shots on the evening, reaching Udoh's milestone from 2008, former coach John Beilein's second year with the program.

Guards Nimari Burnett and Tre Donaldson added 16 points apiece to lead the Wolverines as they outscored the Trojans 42-38 in the first half and 43-36 in the second half in Los Angeles.

Next up for the Wolverines, who fell out of the top 25 recently, is a chance to reclaim a spot in the polls. Michigan is scheduled to face No. 15 UCLA at 10 p.m. ET on Tuesday, January 7 in hopes of keeping pace with the Michigan State Spartans as the only two undefeated teams in the conference at 3-0 each.
