We're less than an hour away from the start of the national championship game between Florida and Houston.

The 2025 men's NCAA Tournament will be decided tonight at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Florida, the No. 1 seed out of the West Region, is going for its first national title since winning back-to-back crowns in 2006 and 2007. Houston, meanwhile, the top seed out of the Midwest, is looking to cut down the nets for the first time in program history.

These are the two squads that will battle it out for the championship, and we now know who will be in charge of controlling the game with their whistles. The NCAA confirmed the referee assignments for the title game a short time ago.

Ron Groover, Terry Oglesby and Doug Sirmons are the three officials, with Michael Irving serving as the alternate on standby. Oglesby is calling his fourth consecutive title game, with Groover working his third in the last four years, according to college basketball writer Jaden Daly.

Sirmons, meanwhile, last worked the championship showdown in 2018, when Villanova beat Michigan. This is his second title game on the whistle.

Both Florida and Houston enter tonight's game with identical 35-4 records and are coming off thrilling national semifinal wins on Saturday. Additionally, the Cougars and Gators rank second and third in KenPom respectively.

Simply put, the stage could be set for a thrilling finale tonight.

"We're an elite offensive team, a top-10 defensive team," Florida head coach Todd Golden said on Sunday. "[Houston is] a top-10 offensive team and elite defensive team. I think it's going to be a contrasting battle that way."

Florida and Houston will tip off at 8:50 p.m. ET on CBS. Ian Eagle, Grant Hill and Bill Raftery will be on the call, with Tracy Wolfson serving as the sideline reporter.
