
Jon Scheyer and his Duke Blue Devils were one win away from playing in the NCAA Tournament title game.
A loss to Houston in the Final Four ended the season of Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, and others with the Blue Devils. Duke finished the season with a 35-4 record, ranked third in the final Associated Press poll.
As the Blue Devils look to rebuild their roster following the loss of several of their top players, including Flagg and Knueppel, they are working the transfer portal closely.
Duke is also looking to keep their returning players from leaving for another program. The most recent news was good news for the 2025-26 team.
The official NCAA March Madness X account sent this message out Thursday morning "Caleb Foster is BACK. The Duke guard announced he's returning for another year in Durham."

Foster came to Duke from Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California. Before that, he attended Hickory Ridge High School in Harrisburg, North Carolina, and also Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia.
When he chose Duke, he had offers from several other programs, such as Auburn, Tennessee, Clemson, and Wake Forest.
The guard appeared in 38 games last season, averaging 14 minutes per game. In the Final Four loss to Houston, Foster played 13 minutes and recorded four rebounds.
In the East Region First Round game, Foster logged 20 minutes, scoring 20 points and grabbing three rebounds. He was often used behind primary guard Tyrese Proctor, who averaged 12.4 points per game.
