Baba Oladotun, the No. 1 ranked player in the 2027 recruiting class, is planning to take a visit to Gonzaga in October according to Jacob Polacheck of On3.

The official date of the visit is unknown, although Gonzaga is set to host 2026 four-star center Sam Funches during Kraziness in the Kennel on October 4 so it would not be a surprise if Oladotun is coming to campus the same weekend.

The 6'9 small forward from Silver Spring, Maryland is the No. 1 ranked recruit at 247Sports and No. 4 in the class according to On3. However, Oladotun is reportedly considering reclassifying to the 2026 class, although no firm decision has been made.

Gonzaga will have plenty of competition for Oladotun, often described as 'Baby KD' for his length, scoring ability, and skinny frame.

Kentucky has gotten heavily involved as of late, while UCLA, Arkansas, Indiana, Michigan, and Villanova all made early offers. 40+ schools in total have offered Oladotun, a list that also includes Kansas, BYU, Miami, Texas, Oregon, and Texas A&M.

Oladotun is one of three known targets for Mark Few and Gonzaga in the 2027 recruiting class. The program just extended an offer to Bremerton high school standout and four-star guard Jalen Davis, and has shown early interest in 6'5 four-star wing Dooney Johnson from Milwaukee as well.

The 2026 recruiting class is still a work in progress for Gonzaga, who not only have Funches set to visit in October but have offers out to five-star point guard Ikenna Alozie, four-star forward Cameron Holmes, and four-star shooting guard Herly Brutus.
