The Ole Miss men's basketball team was one of the biggest stories of the NCAA Tournament. Head coach Chris Beard completely revitalized the Rebels in just his second year at the helm and led the team to a winning record in the SEC, as well as the program's first Sweet 16 appearance in over two decades.

Star guard Sean Pedulla was one of Ole Miss' main catalysts in March Madness, and he was honored on Sunday for his string of elite performances. On3 Sports' Jake Thompson reported that Pedulla was named to the South Regional All-Tournament Team for his prolific three-game stretch.

Pedulla averaged 21.3 points, 5.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals per contest in the NCAA Tournament while shooting an impressive 50.0% from the floor and 42.9% from beyond the three-point line. He scored 20 points or more in every game, including an epic 24-point performance against No. 2 seed Michigan State in the team's final game in the tournament.

Joining Pedulla on the South Regional All-Tournament Team are Michigan's Danny Wolf, Michigan State's Jase Richardson, and Auburn's Tahaad Pettiford and Johni Broome, who was the region's Most Outstanding Player. Pedulla has played his final game in a Rebels uniform, but he will be remembered as an iconic figure in Oxford. At least he went out with a series of historic performances and the peace of mind that he helped turn around a program that was starved for success before his arrival.
