Former Duke center Stanley Borden will transfer to UTSA for the 2025-26 college basketball season, according to a report from Tobias Bass of The Athletic.
Borden has been at Duke since the 2021-22 season, joining the program as a walk-on from Turkey. He appeared in one game in each of the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons before redshirting in 2023-24 and appearing in three games last year.
All told the 7'0 center has played 10 total minutes while recording 3 rebounds and one block with two turnovers. He has yet to score a point, missing his lone field goal attempt last season.

While Borden's lack of D1 experience make him a tough player to project for next season, there is little doubt UTSA has had a productive offseason adding to the roster.
The Roadrunners have added six D1 transfers, two junior college transfers, and a pair of freshmen to a roster that went 12-19 overall last year, including 6-12 in AAC play.
New additions include Borden, Kansas State guard Macaleab Rich, TCU guard Vasean Allette, Arizona State guard Austin Nunez, UMBC guard Bryce Johnson, Southern Utah forward Jamir Simpson, as well as Santa Monica junior college forward Daniel Akitoby and Barton community college guard Brent Moss and a pair of incoming freshmen forwards in Dorian Hayes (4-star, No. 148) and Kaidon Rayfield (3-star).
Pac-12 expansion has largely been centered around the expected addition of Sun Belt team Texas State, but some believe the conference could bring in both central Texas programs to add a natural rivalry while further cementing a footprint in the recruiting hotbed that is Texas.
From Gonzaga's perspective, neither Texas State or UTSA have much history of success on the hardwood, and both would easily prioritize spending their budget on football which essentially means the Zags will have a longer road trip to play a team that - more often than not - won't move the needle much for them resume wise.
