Memphis transfer PJ Haggerty has reportedly asked for $4 million from his potential next school. The best player available in the transfer portal is also testing NBA waters and looking for the best offer, according to The Field of 68’s Jeff Goodman.

With a return to Memphis likely out, Haggerty weighs his options as NC State and Ole Miss being the frontrunners for his services. Texas was also on the list but seems to have dropped off. On the NBA front, Haggerty has a visit scheduled for Friday with the Boston Celtics.

Goodman reported the star guard could go in the mid-second round at this point, but also could wind up going undrafted.

Haggerty started his college career at TCU and Tulsa before a career-year at Memphis. The AAC Player of the Year averaged 21.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 steals for the Tigers. He was the sixth-ranked player to hit the open market during the 2024 cycle, according to On3.

Haggerty's career has advanced from being a three-star prospect to a top five guard in the nation. His $1.7 million NIL Valuation ranks No. 9 in college basketball and No. 35 overall.
