Justin Pippen, the son of NBA legend Scottie Pippen, has made a decision on where he plans to continue his college career.

Pippen is committing to transfer to Ohio State, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN. The sophomore is coming off a breakout season with the Cal Golden Bears.

This will be Pippen’s second trip to the Big Ten. He played 28 games for the Michigan Wolverines in 2024-25 before transferring to Cal, meaning he will have played on both sides of the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry in basketball.

Pippen emerged as a legitimate player for Cal last season. He averaged 14.2 points per game for the Golden Bears, tying him for second on the team in scoring. The team went 22-12 and reached the second round of the NIT.

Justin Pippen is the sixth of Pippen’s seven children and his youngest son. He was originally a four-star recruit and the first prospect Dusty May landed after becoming Michigan’s new head coach.
