Andrej Stojakovic has reportedly narrowed down his transfer options.

The guard will seek his third school in as many years after concluding his sophomore season at California. The son of former NBA All-Star Peja Stojakovic led the Golden Bears with 17.9 points per game last season.

According to Jon Rothstein, the younger Stojakovic will choose from Illinois, North Carolina, or Stanford. He's expected to decide this week.

On Sunday afternoon, Stojakovic posted a letter confirming his exit from California.

"Thank you for your support this past season," he wrote. "You welcomed me with open arms and allowed me to grow as a player and young man. I wouldn't be where I am today without my teammates, coaches, and the incredible fans."

Stojakovic said it was "a true honor" to play for head coach Mark Madsen. He called it a "difficult decision to say goodbye."

"I believe this is the necessary step for me in my development as a player as I pursue my dream of reaching the next level," he added. "Berkeley will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for the memories."

Stojakovic could return to Stanford, where he averaged 7.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game as a freshman. He started 10 games for the Cardinal, who earned their most wins (21) in a decade behind first-year head coach Kyle Smith in 2024-25.

North Carolina nearly missed the NCC tournament for the second time in three years, but the ACC program controversially received a First Four spot. The Tar Heels won their play-in game before losing to Mississippi in the first round.

Hubert Davis has lost guards Elliot Cadeau and Ian Jackson through the transfer portal, but UNC has added Colorado State's Kyan Evans and West Virginia's Jonathan Powell.

Travis Branham of 247Sports called Illinois the "team to beat" for Stojakovic. However, he also speculated that the 20-year-old could commit to the Big Ten program before leaving last Tuesday's campus visit.

The Fighting Illini have made five straight March Madness appearances behind head coach Brad Underwood. Kasparas Jakucionis declared for the NBA Draft after scoring a team-high 15.0 points per game in his first year.
