Michigan State's men's basketball program has a quality group of recruits joining for the 2025-26 season. Tom Izzo has assembled the 17th-ranked class in men's basketball (third in the Big Ten). Seven players have signed to play for MSU next year. This includes two players coming from high school and five coming through the transfer portal. Here is a brief rundown of each recruit.

High School Signings:

  1. Jordan Scott, SF, South Lakes (Reston, VA): The 12th-ranked small forward in the 2025 class from On3, Scott joins Michigan State with a 94.57 rating according to their metrics.
  2. Cam Ward, SF, Largo (Washington DC): The 13th-ranked small forward is right behind Scott in every metric, as the 13th-ranked small forward with a 94.56 rating from on3.com.

Transfers:

Trey Fort, SG, Florence (Big Spring, TX): The 6-4, 195-pound shooting guard comes to MSU from Samford. He joins the Spartans after a strong season for the Bulldogs, where he averaged 14.6 points, four rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game last season.

Kaleb Glenn, PF, (Saint Paul, MN): Glenn is a four-star transfer coming from FAU. Glenn was an essential part of FAU's offense last season, averaging 12.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while shooting 53.1 percent from the field.

Xavier Booker, PF, (Indianapolis, IN): Booker comes to MSU from UCLA. This four-star transfer is 6-11, 205 pounds, and averaged 4.7 points and 2.2 rebounds for the Bruins last year. He wants more playing time and opportunities to leave a mark for the Spartans.

The Spartans are also losing a couple of players in the transfer portal. Point guard Tre Holloman is taking his talents to NC State, while shooting guard Gehrig Normand is moving to Santa Clara.
