Rick Pitino and the St. John's Red Storm brought basketball excitement back to New York City. The 72-year-old head coach, who was born in NYC, is taking great pride in turning the program into a college basketball powerhouse.

The Storm fell in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament, but their season was full of great events. St. John's won the Big East regular season and also conference tournament title.

St. John's was a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament and eventually won 31 games. Pitino is working hard in the off-season to build upon that fantastic season.

Earlier this week, Coach Pitino got the word that former Stanford guard Oziyah Sellers is going to be part of the team next week. Now, the news is even greater, as another big time prospect could be on the way as well.
