The TCU Horned Frogs ended the regular season in Boulder with a 76-56 road loss to the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday at the CU Events Center.

Trazarien White scored 21 off the bench in the losing effort while Noah Reynolds ended with 12 for the Horned Frogs (16-15, 9-11 Big 12).

Julian Hammond III scored 19 for Colorado (12-19, 13-17) and RJ Smith chipped in 12 off the bench. The Buffaloes will enter the Big 12 postseason tournament as the No. 16 and final seed. The championship begins on Tuesday at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.

Colorado led 37-31 at the half and pushed that lead to 51-39 with 15:08 left in the game with a Hammond 3-pointer. The Frogs then initiated an 11-0 run to get TCU to within one at a very "Van Halen-friendly" 51-50.

Smith made a jumper to end the Frogs' run and score Colorado's first points in over five minutes, as the Buffs began their own 11-0 run that saw TCU go scoreless for more than four minutes.

The Frogs lost four of their last five to close the regular season.

TCU will play Colorado again in the first round of the 2025 Phillips 66 Men's Basketball Championship on Tuesday at 2 p.m. CT.
