UCLA Bruins junior transfer swingman Lazar Stefanovic is reeling after the Blue and Gold's narrow 70-69 defeat to the Utah Utes on Sunday, per UCLA Communications. The defeat unceremoniously ended the Bruins' six-game win streak that had essentially revived their season. UCLA is now 14-12 on the year.

"It feels horrible," Stefanovic relayed to gathered media postgame. "I don’t know exactly how to explain it, but it feels horrible. We had the game in our hand before that, so it doesn’t always work. It came down to the last play, but you can count 20 plays down the stretch that we didn’t make, that we could have made, that would have made a difference. We’ve got to learn from it, we’ve got to get better, but yeah, it feels horrible.”

Stefanovic led the Bruins in minutes with a whopping 40. He scored a team-most 19 points on 5-of-13 shooting from the floor (1-of-8 from deep) and 8-of-9 from the foul line, while pulling down eight rebounds, dishing out three dimes, and swiping two steals.

Next up for UCLA is a revival of its crosstown rivalry against the miserable 10-16 USC Trojans this coming Saturday and begging to be put out of their misery by the Bruins for a second straight time this season.
