Coming off back-to-back national championship wins, Dan Hurley and the UConn Huskies looked to become the first college basketball team to three-peat since UCLA in the 1960s-1970s, when the Bruins won seven-straight.
However, the 2025 NCAA Tournament didn't last too long this time around for Hurley and company. After going 23-10 in the regular season and Big East Tournament, the Huskies earned a No. 8 seed before falling in the second round to No. 1 seed Florida.
Now, UConn will prepare for the 2025-26 college basketball season, and they will already have to find a replacement big man.
On Thursday, On3's Joe Tipton reported that UConn forward Isaiah Abraham has entered the transfer portal.
"NEWS: UConn wing Isaiah Abraham is entering the transfer portal, he tells @on3sports," Tipton wrote on X. "The 6-7 freshman is a former top-65 recruit. Appeared in nine games for the Huskies this season."

Abraham, the 6-foot-7 forward out of Paul VI Catholic High School (Fairfax, VA), was a four-star prospect in the class of 2024 (On3). He was ranked as the 63rd-best prospect overall and the 4th-best out of Virginia.
Abraham received interest from many top-tier programs during his recruitment, including offers from Tennessee, Marquette and Virginia.
In his lone season in Storrs, Connecticut, Abraham didn't see much action, playing in only nine games. In 3.7 minutes per contest, he averaged 1.6 points on 5-of-11 shooting and 3-of-7 from distances and 0.6 rebounds.
Abraham marks UConn's first transfer portal loss this year. In each of the past two offseasons, the Huskies hadn't had too many transfer losses, with only two players departing, an average of one per offseason.
