Butler vs. Virginia: Playing at the Greenbrier Tip-Off in West Virginia, the Cavaliers lost to the Bulldogs,  80-73. Virginia only shot 37.5% in the second half. Malik Thomas scored 24 points and grabbed three rebounds for Virginia. Jacari White added 14 points with four made three-pointers. Butlers' Finley Bizjack scored a game-high 25 points, and Michael Ajayl had 17 points and 14 rebounds.
