Matthew Hurt was named the ACC's Most Improved Player and All-ACC First-Team after the 2020-21 season. Hurt led the league in scoring with 18.4 points per game, field goal shooting at 55.5% for the season, and he led Duke with 6.4 rebounds per contest. The All-ACC 1st-Teamer ranked 5th in the ACC with 2.3 made 3-pointers per game.
