NC State's shot for a miracle finish in the final seconds was denied by Ben Burnham, who stole the inbounds pass and dunked it as time expired. Schutt finished the game with 17 points and five rebounds. Burnham had 12 points, five rebounds, two steals, and an assist. Tobi Lawal led the Hokies with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Jayden Taylor had 17 points, three assists, two rebounds, and a steal to lead the way for NC State.
