The slam dunk is one of the most iconic plays in basketball. When executed properly, a dunk can be catastrophic to a defender's image and pride.
Well, Norfolk State's Christian Ings (12 points, 3 rebounds) found the most emphatic way to ice his team's 69-60 win over MEAC rival Morgan State on Monday night, slamming back-to-back dunks in the final minutes of regulation.

What a slam for Norfolk State!
Gets the win over Morgan State and still have just 1 MEAC loss. 4th straight 20+ win season for @NSU_BBALL!

Ings' first dunk gave the Spartans an eight-point lead with just 1:30 remaining, causing the bench to go crazy in reaction to his cross-over and "posterization" of the defender.
His next slam was even crazier, rushing into the paint on a transition play and windmilling the ball through the net in the final seconds.

Norfolk State (20-8) has now won eight straight games and, with only one conference loss, is sitting well positioned to be the MEAC's representative in the NCAA Tournament.
With three games remaining, the Spartans have an excellent opportunity to lock up the regular season title and the No. 1 seed entering the conference tournament in March.
