With North Carolina up by four with the ball, Armando Bacot threw a cross-court pass to RJ Davis, and the ACC leading scorer buried a three-pointer. On Pitt's ensuing possession, Bacot got switched onto Jaland Lowe and despite the quickness advantage Bacot did not let the speedy guard get away, and he blocked his shot. This sequence by the two leaders of the Tar Heels team gave UNC the ball with a seven-point lead and two minutes to go. That would be enough for North Carolina to close out Pitt and is the CPI Security moment of the game.
