The Pack had a chance trailing by 2 late in the game when Jayden Taylor's shot attempt was blocked by former Virginia Cavalier Kadin Shedrick and the Longhorns were able to turn it into a breakout dunk in the final seconds. Dontrez Styles paced the Wolfpack with 17 points on 7-12 shooting while hitting 3-5 from three-point range while Marcus Hill added 16 points on 7-11 shooting in a losing effort.
