WVU basketball is playing right with the No. 3 team in the country in the Bahamas, and providing some highlights along the way.

The Mountaineers have played within 10 points of Gonzaga for the entire first half of their Battle 4 Atlantis opener on Tuesday.

Just when the Zags started to make a run to try and pull away, WVU’s Tucker DeVries poked away a lazy pass for a wide-open dunk that ended a 9-0 Gonzaga run.

WVU trails Gonzaga by eight points with the score 39-31 at halftime.
