The Demon Deacons won their 5th consecutive game and are 6-1 in the ACC after going on the road and taking care of Virginia Tech, 72-63. Wake's Hunter Sallis was again the star of the show going over 20 points for the seventh consecutive contest with 24 points on 10 of 17 shooting to go with 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Sallis' backcourt mate Cam Hildreth added 21 points of his own. Wake held Virginia Tech to 39.3% shooting on the afternoon. Jaden Schutt paced VT with 12 points.
