LSU women's basketball is one of the premier programs in the NCAA, and the team's recently announced recruiting class appears equipped to carry on that tradition.

ESPN rated the Tigers' 2025 class as the best in the country on March 25. The team brought in forward Grace Knox, point guard Divin Bourrage, guard ZaKiyah Johnson and guard Isabella Hines. Those women rank Nos. 6, 12, 13 and 30 in the country, respectively.

"[Head coach] Kim Mulkey has signed three of the best perimeter players plus one of the most productive forwards in the country," ESPN wrote. "They will complement each other and provide a punch from all angles, with some versatility inside sprinkled in."

Angel Reese, a star at LSU when the team won the national championship over Caitlin Clark's Iowa Hawkeyes in 2023, took to social media on Tuesday, April 1, to praise the incoming group of players to her alma mater next year.

"I like these new LSU babies coming in!!" Reese posted to her X account.

The Tigers lost in the Elite Eight to Clark and the Hawkeyes in 2024, after which Reese went pro. The WNBA's Chicago Sky selected her with the No. 7 overall pick.

LSU also made it to the Elite Eight this year, where the team fell short against UCLA, the tournament's overall No. 1 seed.
