South Carolina women's basketball head coach Dawn Staley has been an icon for the program for years.

Staley has brought a winning, championship mindset that's helped the Gamecocks earn three national titles during her time with the program.

Amid all of the success on the sidelines as the head coach of one of the most prestigious programs, Staley has also been making moves off the court.

Staley recently announced the official release of her new book, "Uncommon Favor."

After the book was released in May, Staley revealed that "Uncommon Favor" is now a New York Times Bestseller.

"BIG BIG I MEAN HUGE NEWS my good peeps!" Staley said. "WE ARE A NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER! Thank you to our incredible teams, every reader, every listener and every supporter for the work to make UNCOMMON FAVOR a bestseller! Unbelievable! Unimaginable! Thank you lord for your UNCOMMON FAVOR

Dawn Staley revealed her immediate reaction to the news in a video she posted on social media, attached to her emphatic message above.

"I mean, it's been a couple of years in the making and everyone, every single person that touched this project poured into it," Staley said. "They just told me that 'Uncommon Favor' is a New York bestseller. You heard me... No. 2 overall in all books sold to date. All books sold. All books out of all the books."

Since taking over at South Carolina in 2008, Dawn Staley has led the Gamecocks to seven Final Four appearances, nine SEC regular-season titles and nine SEC Tournament titles.

She was also a previous WNBA All-Star, having played for the Charlotte Sting and the Houston Comets. She finished her playing career as a six-time WNBA All-Star.
