After taking down Hannah Hidalgo and the No. 3 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Sweet 16, Hailey Van Lith and No. 2 seed TCU Horned Frogs advanced to the first Elite Eight in program history.

On Monday, Van Lith and TCU looked to earn a spot in the Final Four, taking on No. 1 seed Texas Longhorns in the Birmingham Region 3 finals.

Van Lith's boyfriend, Jalen Suggs of the NBA's Orlando Magic, was in attendance at Legacy Arena at BJCC to support his girlfriend and TCU.

Before the game, a video was posted on social media of Suggs showing his support for Van Lith, rocking her No. 10 TCU jersey. Suggs also shared a message, making it clear who he is rooting for.

"Out here in Birmingham about to catch some good hoops," Suggs said. "You know who I'm repping. You know who I'm supporting. Best time to be a basketball fan. I'm locked in with TCU."

Before he was drafted by the Magic in 2021, Suggs played one season of college basketball with the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He notably led the program to a national championship appearance, recording 22 points and three assists in the loss to Baylor.

Suggs has since earned a starting job with Orlando. However, after playing 35 games this year, he underwent season-ending knee surgery

The winner of Texas vs. TCU will move on to Tampa, Florida, for the Final Four, where they will face No. 1 seed South Carolina Gamecocks.
