Hailey Van Lith and the No. 2 seed TCU Horned Frogs women's basketball team are moving on to the first-ever Sweet 16 in program history, regardless of gender.

On Sunday, Van Lith led TCU to an 85-70 win over No. 7 seed Louisville Cardinals in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Van Lith spent three seasons with Louisville to begin her college career before transferring to LSU in 2023. She even played with a few members of the current Cardinals team, including fifth-year forward Olivia Cochran and fifth-year guard Merissah Russell, who also happened to be Van Lith's former roommates.

Van Lith finished the game with 16 points, five rebounds and 10 assists, her second points/assists double-double of the season and her career.

Following what was advertised as Van Lith's "revenge game," the senior guard spoke to the media and shared her opinion of her former team, saying she still has "love for them."

"I would describe it as nostalgic a little bit," Van Lith said. "I was there for three years... I almost completed my entire college career there... I grew up with those girls, man. We made stupid, young kid mistakes together, and 100% feel connected to that community... I have love for them... And I have positive memories there."

Van Lith helped Louisville reach the Final Four in her second season with the program. She also helped the Cardinals reach the Elite Eight another two times and the LSU Tigers once.

Van Lith and TCU will take on Olivia Miles and No. 3 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Sweet 16 on Saturday. The winner will move on to the Elite Eight to face either No. 1 seed Texas, No. 5 seed Tennessee or No. 8 seed Illinois.
