Paige Bueckers hasn’t even suited up for a WNBA game yet, but her off-court success is already making some waves.
On April 11, Ally Financial announced a new endorsement deal with Bueckers, adding the former UConn star and 2025 No. 1 overall pick to its growing roster of WNBA athletes.
She joins Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty and Sydney Colson of the Indiana Fever as part of the brand’s high-profile push into women’s basketball.
The deal marks another big win for Bueckers, who also signed a three-year agreement with the Unrivaled women’s pro basketball league earlier this week.
Between brand partnerships and league exposure, her pro career is off to a fast start—before she’s even stepped on the court.
Speaking to CNBC Sport on Thursday, Andrea Brimmer, Ally’s chief marketing and PR officer, shared why the company targeted Bueckers for the deal.
“Think about her social currency alone and her followership… that’s an incredible footprint that she already has,” Brimmer said. “The second thing is, there’s an authenticity. She has a great interest in financial literacy and financial education… we like to find people that share our values.”

The partnership signals how valuable Bueckers is not just as a player, but as a brand.
Her popularity soared at UConn, where she helped lead the Huskies to a national championship in her final season and built a massive following along the way.
Now, as the newest member of the Dallas Wings and a likely face of the league’s next generation, Bueckers is showing her reach extends far beyond basketball.
The WNBA season hasn’t tipped off yet, but Paige Bueckers is already proving she’s a star—on and off the court.
