Shaquille O'Neal's daughter Amirah commits to LSU basketball

Shaquille O'Neal's daughter Amirah announced her commitment to LSU basketball Thursday, and she'll be joining her brother Shareef in Louisiana.

She posted her decision on Instagram and while she said it was a difficult one, she's excited to spend the next four years alongside her brother at LSU.

The 18-year-old has been a standout for Crossroads School in Calif., averaging 17.2 points per game. While LSU has yet to announced the signing, it's expected to come soon.

Shaq spent his college career at LSU from 1989-1992 before being selected first overall by the Orlando Magic in 1992.

Amirah and Shareef will continue the O'Neal legacy at LSU as both look to continue their careers in a potential run to the WNBA and NBA, respectively.
