The LSU Tigers Women’s Basketball team begins their quest to capture their first SEC Tournament Championship since 2008 on Friday night when they take on No. 11 Florida in the quarterfinals.
After a 27-4 (12-4 SEC) regular season record, the Tigers received the No. 3 seed in the SEC Tournament, earning themselves a double-bye, meaning they will only need to win three games to capture the 2025 SEC Tournament title.
Unfortunately, the Tigers will be without their star guard, Flau’jae Johnson, who Kim Mulkey announced will be out until the start of the NCAA Tournament with shin inflammation. In their lone game without Johnson, the Tigers lost to Ole Miss by seven in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
