WNBA Makes Major Paige Bueckers Announcement Ahead of 2025 Draft

Over the last four years, UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers has been widely regarded as one of the best players in the NCAA, becoming the first freshman in history to be named the National Women's Player of the Year. After playing for a limited time in her sophomore season due to injury, Bueckers still led the Huskies to the National Championship, though they didn't win.

However, this year, in her senior season, Bueckers has become a National Champion just in time for the WNBA Draft, where she is expected to go at pick No. 1 to the Dallas Wings. After seeing the attention Caitlin Clark brought to the league, the WNBA is anticipating a similar result from Bueckers, as they announced a new partnership ahead of the draft.

The WNBA announced that they will be partnering with Ally for the 2025 WNBA season on several projects, including the WNBA All-Star Game and the newly announced "Rivalry Week," set to commence on August 9. Along with the WNBA, Bueckers also signed a new player endorsement deal, joining Brianna Stewart and Sydney Colson.

The partnership is a part of Ally's 50-50 pledge to invest equally in men's and women's sports. Ally was also previously partnered with the Las Vegas Aces along with Stewart and Colson, but now they're expanding to a much bigger project with the WNBA as a whole.

Bueckers is a no-brainer for the endorsement deal as she will almost certainly be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, averaging 19.9 points, 4.6 assists, and 4.4 rebounds in her route to her National Championship.
