Boston College improved off of their 3-9 record in 2022 by going 7-6 last season. They capped off the year by winning the Fenway Bowl. After Jeff Hafley left to be the Green Bay Packers DC, former Ohio State and Alabama OC Bill O'Brien takes over. He was solid as Penn State's head man following the Joe Paterno scandal but that was over ten years ago. Additionally, O'Brien was 52-48 in seven seasons as the Houston Texans' head coach.

O'Brien gets to work with one of the most electric players in the ACC. Dual-threat Quarterback Thomas Castellanos will be the key for their success as he led the team in both passing and rushing last year. They don't have the strongest schedule, so I could easily see them reaching another bowl game in 2024.
