2026 Nickel/LB Will Martin: Spotlight on Alabama Recruits

The Enterprise Wildcats of Enterprise, Ala. have posted a 2-3 record in 2025 and are led on defense by talented 2026 Nickel/LB Will Martin.

Martin has racked up 21 tackles, three tackles for loss and two pass breakups so far this season. Martin can play in the secondary as a nickel defensive back and also as a jack linebacker, which is a “hybrid” outside linebacker/safety.

In 2024 as a member of Rehobeth High School, Martin posted 55 stops, 16 tackles for loss, three sacks and eight pass breakups for the Rebels. Martin was named to the 2024 6A All-Region 2 team.

Martin also participates in track and field. In the triple jump event, Martin recorded a jump of 40.2 feet.

Football is a legacy in the Martin family. Will’s dad Keith played college ball for the Crimson Tide of Alabama in the 1990s. Reese, Martin’s older brother, played at Notre Dame College in Ohio. The younger Martin has stepped up to forge his own path in the family “business.”

Martin’s versatility and athleticism have attracted the attention of several schools, including Murray State, New Haven and Ouachita Baptist. In addition, Martin holds scholarship offers from Millsaps and Miles College.

The Godfather of Recruiting, Mike Farrell, had this to say about 2026 Nickel/LB Will Martin:
