Any team looking to add some experience and talent to their roster at the running back position received good news today when Wyoming running back Harrison Waylee entered the portal as a grad transfer.

Waylee, 5-foot-10 and 210-pounds, spent the first three years of his collegiate career at Northern Illinois before playing the last two with the Cowboys. Overall, he has rushed for 3,199 yards and 16 touchdowns, while also grabbing 40 receptions.

His best season came in 2023 with Wyoming when he rushed for 947 yards and five touchdowns, but his 2024 season was cut down to four games due to a knee injury suffered in summer camp which resulted in a redshirt. Waylee was projected to play an important role in the Cowboys’ offense in 2025.
