According to Justin Melo of Sports Illustrated, the San Francisco 49ers were among several NFL teams to meet in person with Utah State defensive back Ike Larsen at his pro day.
Although Larsen wasn't invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, he impressed scouts at his pro day, posting a 4.21-second shuttle time that would have ranked second among safeties at the Combine.

Larsen spent five seasons with Utah State. Over his collegiate career, he totaled 273 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two sacks, 10 interceptions, 22 passes defensed, and one forced fumble, per Sports Reference.
In 2025, Larsen recorded 56 tackles, three tackles for loss, one interception, and five passes defensed, earning honorable mention All-Mountain West honors.
Primarily lining up at safety or in the slot, Larsen limited opposing quarterbacks to an 85.0 passer rating (NFL calculation) when targeted in coverage last season, according to Pro Football Focus.
With the 49ers expected to address the secondary in the 2026 NFL Draft, Larsen could be an intriguing mid-to-late round prospect.
